Cornwall played very well at times but the teams lack on consistent play and effort and the ability to play 60 minutes of hockey continues to hinder the club getting some wins. Even with Devon Gunn scoring 2 goals in his return against Fredericton the team was at times lathargic in its play. With 15 rookies on this team it will take some time for them to 'get it', when they do watch out

Fredericton NB- The Fredericton Darcy Simon Canadiens defeated the Cornwall Superior Thunder 6-4 in NBPEI Major Midget Hockey League action Saturday played at Willy O'Ree Place in Fredericton.
Scoring for Fredericton were Phillip Fife (2-2), Alex Murray (2-1), Adam Jones (1-1), and Brett Young. Other assists were given to Peter Trainor (2), Paul Comeau (2) Brandon Conners, Zach Foster, and Thomas Daley.
Scoring for Cornwall Devon Gunn (2), Brandon Carter (1-2), and Adam Wight. Other assists were given to Devon Parsons (2), Jonathan Richards (2), and Matt Arsenault.
Fredericton goalie Seamus Bowen made 28 saves for the victory while Dylan McQuaid made 33 saves in a losing cause
Cornwall will be in the Monctonian next weekend playing The New England Huskies on Thursday at 7:15 pm ; The fredricton Canadians on Friday @ 2:00 pm and Cape Breton West at 12:30 pm on Saturday.
