Cornwall defeats St John 3 to 2:

Cornwall allowed 2 short handed goals but managed to hold on for the win. Scoring for Cornwall Brandan Carter; Devan Gunn and Josh Bowman with assist from Issac Jay (2); Jonathan Richards(2)' Drew Coulson and Devon Parsons. Scoring for St John Andrew Dolan and Scott Fenwick with and assists from Shayne Betts and Ryan Langan. Winning goalie was Chris Gallant while Andrew Mergl.

Bowman broke a skate blade in the first period and borrowed skates to finish the game scoring the winning goal on a great pass from Isaac Jay. The Thunder held a 1-0 lead following the first period, and the two teams were tied 2-2 going into the third.

Teams meet again Saturday at APM at 4:30 pm
